Board of Directors / Isolde Brielmaier


Isolde Brielmaier is the national Executive Director of Arts, Culture & Community at Westfield where her primary focus is the Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center as well as Century City in L.A.  In this curatorial and programmatic capacity, she oversees artist projects and installations, cultural events, museum partnerships, school programming and community partnerships, all integrated with the latest technology. Isolde also serves as Assistant Professor of Critical Studies in Tisch's Department of Photography, Imaging and Emerging Media at New York University as well as Curator-at-Large at the Tang Museum, and continues to work on a range of cultural projects that bridge both the public and private sectors.  Previously, Isolde worked for the Guggenheim Museum, the Bronx Museum of Art, and as Chief Curator for the SCAD Museum of Art.  She holds a PhD from Columbia University and lives in New York City.
