Janet Cooper joined the Women’s Prison Association (WPA) as the Senior Director of Community Based Programming & Workforce Planning in August 2024. A proud Brooklyn native, she brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, with a strong focus on program management and workforce development. Janet is deeply committed to advancing equity and opportunity for justice-impacted women. Her mission is to create sustainable systems and develop programs that support successful reentry and reintegration into society.
