Amanda Bart
Amanda Bart serves as Executive Assistant to the Founder of Harlem Village Academies, Deborah Kenny. Amanda was previously the Senior Executive Assistant to the President of the Brennan Center for Justice, Michael Waldman, and an Associate Director of Operations for Correctional Health Services at Rikers Island. Prior to that, she spent seven years as Director of Administration for the Bellevue Juvenile Justice Mental Health Service program.
Prior to joining the Board of Directors, Amanda served as Chair of the WPA’s Associate Board and single-handedly raised over $250,000 on behalf of WPA. Amanda received an MA in Forensic Psychology at CUNY’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Crime and Justice from the University of Michigan.
