Nitya Chambers

Nitya Chambers is the Executive Editor and SVP of Content at Lonely Plant. An Emmy-award-winning storyteller and influential content and product leader on a mission to create inclusive spaces with authentic voices that build community and greater understanding, Nitya has spent 20 years at the intersection of creative strategy and product development.  

Driven by empathy and curiosity to understand what, why, and how of consumer trends, Nitya is passionate about positively impacting the way users experience content throughout their journey. As VP of Content Development at CNN, Nitya led digital content teams and strategy and oversaw product discovery. She earned a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018 for Explore Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. Nitya holds an MA in journalism from Boston University and a BS in anthropology from Carnegie Mellon University.
